The Cybermen are definitely not still around because they were soaked in void stuff. They followed the void ship through the hole in reality that Torchwood made bigger. The only way they could have followed the void ship was to travel through the void. Also, there is definitely only one Doctor. That Rose and the Doctor had to split up (at least to me) was nothing short of devastating. It would be nice for both Rose and the Doctor to reunite in some way. However, I think we have been braced for their split since the beginning. After all, everything has it's time and everything dies or ends. I don't think there could be an alternate Doctor, there wasn't even an alternate Rose. Besides, the Doctor isn't human, he is a Time Lord. The Universe is only big enough for one Doctor anyway.
