Is anyone embedding urls in podcasts?

What I mean is: imagine that I’m listening to a podcast on my PC (ok, already a subset of listeners, but hear me out). Every now and then, a series of beeps happens and information about the song that is playing in the podcast or information about the movie being discussed in the podcast opens in a new tab in Firefox and the browser’s focus shifts to that tab.

What we need:
1) Podcasters will, ahead of time, put each of their urls into tinyurl.com.
1) Podcasters will then, during their whow, run an app that converts characters into a series of beeps.
2) Podcast listeners will install a firefox plugin that listens to the audio channels on the PC or Mac and decodes those beeps back into characters. These characters are then be appended to http://tinyurl.com/ and the result is opened in a new Firefox tab.
